AML / KYC approach

An honest description of where things stand today — not a claim of a formal compliance program we don't have.

EuroToBTC is a small, independently operated service. This page describes our current, honest approach — it is not a claim of formal regulatory licensing or a fully built-out compliance program.

Manual review of every order

Every order is checked by a person before BTC is sent. This includes confirming the payment amount, reference, and source account line up with the order — a basic first line of defence against obviously mismatched or suspicious payments.

Order limits

Minimum and maximum order amounts apply, shown at the time of ordering. Orders at the higher end of what we accept may require additional information from you before being processed.

Identity verification

We do not currently run a formal, automated identity-verification (KYC) process for every order. For orders that appear unusual in size, pattern, or origin, we may ask you for additional information — such as confirmation that a payment came from an account in your name — before completing the order, and we may decline an order if we're not satisfied it can be processed safely.

Source of funds

Payment must come from a bank or Revolut account held in your own name. We may decline or delay an order where this can't be confirmed.

Our commitment

As this service grows, we intend to formalise these checks further, in line with applicable anti-money-laundering obligations. This page will be updated to reflect that as it happens, rather than describing a program that isn't in place yet.
